Chicks were 1 day old at start of study. Both groups were inoculated with Salmonella Typhimurium (days 2, 9, and 16). Exposed group received a finisher diet with 1.25 kg/MT XPC, starting on Day 21. Data here are from Day 49 (intestinal sample).
