40 One day old Indian River broiler chicks vaccinated against infectious bronchitis, Newcastle's disease, and Mrek's disease were used. On day 4, after fecal-sample collection, chicks were given their respective feed rations: treatment 1 - fed bambermycins (3g/ton) on days 4 to 66, and treatment 2 - controls, nonmedicated throughout the trial (to day 66)

On days 4 (before start of mediated ration feeding), 14, 18, 21,25,32,39,46,53, 59, and 66, fecal samples were collected from all birds.
